It's going to be a big game for Zach. I've seen some real improvements in terms of some of the technical elements to his game, but it's going to be tested to the max today. Hackett without Rodgers is like Gase without Manning,, so overmatched. Throw in the fact that this fan base has already had its fill with his father, who didn’t know a forward pass was permitted by the league, if Hackett decides to use the Turtle Offense, life for Hackett and Saleh will get pretty ugly around here by Monday.
Saleh liked talking about collecting receipts, it can really turn into a long collection line of fans fast.
The biggest question for me today is how the heck did JD with his background as an offensive lineman and his extensive back ground as a NFL executive come to the conclusion that going into a NFL season with not one but two projected starting OT’s attempting to return from serious injuries was a good idea? And this is not even the first time he’s done this. He made the same mistake last year so it not like this is anything new. With all the offseason excitement generated by the Aaron Rodgers acquisition the biggest question that kept popping up was “ how are the Jets gonna be able to protect him?”. Well the nay sayers must be thrilled as this has made them look pretty good. So much for the best laid plans...🤬
