Great onside kick, nice job as a punter, best completion percentage on the team, very nice pass. Jeff Smith ran a great route, broke ankles. Zuerlein made this team because he can make a 57 yard kick, made a Tackle , and 4 extra points. Ashtyn Davis was a dead man walking, covered some ground to get the interception. Joyner may not be the answer at Safety but he led the team in Tackles, limited explosive plays. The Offensive Tackles held up. I wanted to cut Justin Hardee for another DB and CAP, recovered the onside kick and is leading ST. Finally, Flacco, the final drive with 1:22 left, just a solid job from a veteran QB.
I'd also give some credit to MLF, starting with personnel groupings.
Maybe it was an easy decision once Uzomah got hurt, but he made the adjustment to get GW on the field more, shifting away from 12 personnel despite the twin edge rushers

3 WR sets 45 times (68.2%). Gets our best skill players on the field together
It'll be interesting to see if they mix in more 12 once Uzomah gets back.
a lot easier to write this David - good for you ! - The Jets HAD to win a game in September for the franchise and thier fans. This was a top 5 game in Jets history and a most inprobable win. Now it will be exciting to go this coming Sunday and hopefully start stacking wins !
I was also wondering who Garrett Wilson kept beating and if it was slot or outside snaps. Did MLF successfully get him in the slot against favorable match ups? Did Denzel Ward shut down CD and then Newsome on Moore, leaving Takitaki or safeties to try to stay with GW?
I really wish the Feely would mention this kind of stuff during the game. Ward is a star, so I'd think that would play into their coverage strategy. Did he shadow Moore or Davis?
We had a really heavy rotation and yet our defense seemed to be worn down by the 4th quarter. Maybe that can be the impact of our 2 RBif we commit in future games

I nearly drove off the road listening to The end of this game! That is why I listen to the end of EVERY GAME, hoping for an end lik that!
