Thanks again for the weekly stat pack. Unfortunately there wasn’t much to review.😂 I was wondering how one might go about viewing the all 22 you mentioned in today’s article?

Hi Ron, yeah the offensive side didn't take too long to review at all. If you purchase NFL Gamepass then the All-22 is available to view on there.

What was the PFF grade on ZW? I’m guessing it was 87.0 or some bullsh--

Quick take on Zach: he gets the first half to prove he can be composed and efficient. If he fails, we go to White, then Flacco (in next game if White fails). This offseason we make hard runs at all FA QB's.

Elsewhere, I thought DJ Reed played too soft, allowed multiple slants b/c of cushion.

Our safeties continue to miss tackles. Probably Kwan's worst game.

having read an article about our "situational coach" (Smamash?) who is in Saleh's ear during the entire game, why didn't we punt out of bounds? No chance for a return.

OL success is often about chemistry. And we seem destined to never get OL chemistry. Will we start Herbig, LDT, or Feeney? Ogbuehi last week, might be Mitchell this week, and Fant the week after.

Are there stats on our passing success when we successfully establish the run? Feels like ZW plays much better when the defense is worried about the run.

MLF knows he'll have yet another OL grouping , with Mitchell hopefully back.

Disappointed that it was Brown with 4 pressures.

I would still start ZW, especially against the Bears. If we start White and he does well against a bad Bears D, we'll be tempted to ride with him. Let's give ZW this game, on a short leash

Big week for MLF and our QB coach, to get Wilson on track. It's always been the key to our season.

My take - Wilson was badly rattled, and became even more gunshy after early struggles. Between lack of trust in his OL and wind gusts, post snap movement and the tight game that made him terrified to make a mistake, he didn't trust his reads and took too long. Then needed to rush his throw with bad mechanics when he finally decided to launch it. That even happened on a screen. Heard Kurt Warner was breaking down his bad footwork that lead to inaccurate passes.

At that point Wilson had closed off most of the field, and the Pats swarmed the remaining parts. With no threat of the run, we never had a chance.

My Jets fan friends were crushing Lafleur for a lack of creativity and limited motion, but these stats show nothing was working. MLF tried to give him easy reads and open receivers, and they got open.

I think we could have pulled him during the game, and then started him vs Chi. His head wasn't right.

Reminds me of the Darnold ghosts game, but I feel much better about ZW putting it together.

He has 1 week to bounce back.

Really well thought our argument there Todd and I pretty much agree with everything you said, although I'll be completely honest I don't feel that much better about Zach putting it all together. Some of it is absolutely mental but a lot of it is physical, to my eyes and I admit I'm no expert when it comes to QB, he hasn't really improved very much over the course of the last year and that's a huge problem. The team are almost leaving him behind in their evolution.

Personally I'd make a chance for this weekend if only to send a message to Zach and the rest of the team that we're about putting W's on the board.

The most (only) encouraging thing in your always superb article was about Saleh leaving open the possibility of sitting Zack. Maybe Joe D had that chat with him? Maybe he just looked at the tape and listened to the arrogance.

Let's go Mike!

Sounds as though once he had a chance to sit and think about the situation, he started to consider a change was needed. Apparently he hadn't even reviewed the tape at that point, when he does he won't like what he sees from #2. I still think Zach starts this weekend, but his leash will be very short against a very bad defense.

Hopefully it's a "get right" game for the offense
