Game wasnt lost there - Thier idiot coach calls for a fake punt with ball gven to a below average safty to get a first down. Evem when they survived that (fumble in the end zone) Thier hot dog big mouth reciever Diggs doesnt catch a perfect dime 65 yard pass. Even if he made the FG - Mahomes had plenty of time to get a winning FG with a healthly Kicker.
I agree. But you know how reporters are, they will pound home the Norwood- Bass comparison.
Also, that fake punt reminiscent of Bill O’Brien and the Texans faking a punt against the Chiefs when they the score and momentum totally in their favor
It would appear that there is a plethora of offensive tackles and wide receivers in this draft, so we can assume how the Jets make out in free agency will help dictate who they draft.
If JD goes anywhere else besides OT or WR with another McDonald surprise pick, I think there will be a large gathering of fans with pitchforks and torches at the gates in Florham Park the second day of the draft.
A good game for Buffalo Bill reserve running back, Ty Johnson. 7 carries 40 yds, 5.7 average and 1 reception 14 yards.
Ty was unceremoniously cut on May, 21st 2023.
It can be assumed because he got injured while working out by himself.
"I’ve had some Dark, dark days, man," said the 25-year old Johnson. "Told them [about the injury]. I told them even before this, I was like: ‘hey, was working out, [the torn pectoral] happened’ — saw the team doctor, he was like — ‘you need to get it fixed.’ Flew out the next day [to get surgery]. Came back happy that I got it done, even though I didn’t want to get it done. That following Wednesday, you’re outta there!"
A number of NFL players shared Kleiman's initial post and added their own thoughts. One of those tweeters was current Jets' starting cornerback DJ Reed, who wrote, "Off site injuries while working out should have some type of protection from the team. Same thing happened to me in San Fran."
Johnson’s numbers this season 30 carries 132 yds 4.4 a carry. 7 receptions 62 yds 1 td. Against the Jets
In Runningback News, Ty Johnson had a nice game for Buffalo last night. Stump Mitchell could be an upgrade, could be our Run game coordinator taking that Job away from Keith Carter, letting Keith focus on the Offensive line. Breece Hall may like Stump, and Mitchell could accelerate the development of Abanikanda & Valladay. As for Embry he has a background with WR’s & TE’s , he could help out there.
On the Draft , I like Fuaga, huge trade own guy, but it’s always Left Tackle over Right Tackle, therefore, if Fashanu is there , you take him. After Becton , very concerned about the durability of big guys, but JC Latham has a great upside, and has faced SEC competition. Therefore , Fashanu >> JC Latham >> Fuaga, but happy with any one of the three.. WR Thomas is absolutely a great fit for this team.
For anybody interested in hearing more about those uniform rumors, Paul Lukas over at UniWatch interviewed the guys who broke the rumors (Jake Asman and Steven Berkowitz)
David, wow! The Sporting News appears clueless with some of their projections. I say Justin Fried did a moc for FanSided Daily that is getting Alt, Jalen McMillian ( who absolutely love) and your guy Byron Murphy. A couple of other good picks as well but if we ended up with those 3 guys I think that would be JD’s 2nd best draft. Glad to see so many here in on Thomas. Ordunes is my favorite WR but Thomas is my 1b as Harrison will be long gone by pick 10. Now McMillian being available in the 3rd and Murphy in the 4th are very unlikely but it was a fun moc so what the heck.
Just glad the Bills lost and the Rangers came back to win
I never watch post game shows. But Simms, Boomer and all made some good points.
Simms said that their information about that end of the field was windy going from left to right, exactly like the kick went
Plus that was a 44 yarder. No chip shot in those conditions.

Oh yes totally including the Bills own fans

In comparison,
Dalvin Cook 67 carries 214 yds 3.2 a carry. 15 receptions 78 yds.
David your mock is the second mock that I have seen with the Jets taking Joe Milton in the later rounds.

It's, as always, a great read. Paul Lukas and the whole UniWatch site is great for anybody into uniforms. He used to do UniWatch for Page 2 at ESPN.

I really like Justin Fried's writing. I read it every day on the JetXpress site.
Agreed. Not a big fan of FanSided but he does a good job. He’s a young guy who’s a great Jets fan.
Yeah he's a really good guy, writes a lot of good content.
