Mo definitely belongs in the Ring of Honor. He was one of the steadiest and headiest players I have had the pleasure of watching. Love your column by the way. Great insights. Well done.

Thank you for the kind words and support, really appreciate it.

Mo absolutely stood for everything that the ROH is supposed to showcase, I hope that Woody and the committee rectify his absence next season.

I assumed he was already in. Pretty bizarre that he isn’t. 13 years of service, 2 all pros including during the best Jets season since the 60’s. Unclear why he hasn’t been honored yet.

Mo should definitely be in the ROH. He is 4th all-time in Jets games played behind Pat Leahy, Randy Rasmussen and Kyle Clifton. He is 3rd in Pro-football Reference's AAV rating for Jets players behind only Don Maynard and Larry Grantham. He is 2nd in team history on solo tackles behind Clifton. He is #1 in Forced Fumbles and amazingly #2 in INTs returned for a TD behind Erik McMillan. He is 7th in sacks behind Gastineau, Klecko, Shawn Ellis, Gerry Philbin, Verlon Biggs and John Abraham.

It's a shame he is most remembered for "The Hit." He had a great career for mostly bad teams.
