Four games at this reduced snap count. Certainly an increased snap count for Williams on any game is easy to explain. Question, does this policy effect Negotiations on Williams extension ? On another important note, Ulbrich states that the Jets are not getting a run stuffing DT. I find this disturbing and alarming that the Jets are going into the season , with TINY DT’s, but they will be tough, right. The Jets had the 32nd ranked Defense last year.

I don’t have a lot of confidence in Ulbrich as a D Coordinator. I realize last year we were limited talent wise but still some of his schemes were questionable. Saying you’re going to limit your best D linemen to 35 snaps max makes little sense. We’ll see if Saleh is willing to make a change with his Coordinator if the Jets struggle this year or if Saleh will stubbornly support Ulbrich and both lose their jobs. Hopefully, as you said David, this is just June talk.
