Play action is critical to the success of this Offense. The importance of Training Camp can’t be understated, for Zach, it’s about timing, trust, and eyes. It’s not unusual for rookies to struggle in PA, but Zach will be assisted by better protection, a better running game, and WR’s that can get separation. Key is to get the running game going in the first game against the Ravens.
That's a very good point about the TE's, the Jets are set up to take advantage this year and Zach will have everything he needs to make a big jump in terms of his accuracy.
Another spot on article by my favorite Jets writer.👍 Interesting reading your take on Zac’s final 5 games. I agree, they pulled the reigns in and kind of made him a game manager. Limiting the interceptions was great. But they didn’t draft this kid to be a game manager. They drafted him to be a difference maker. So yes, they are gonna have to turn him loose this season so we can see what we have.

Teams will bite harder with an improved RB game and if they do we finally have TE's who will make them pay unlike Kroft and Griffin.
