One other Jet Knick comparison is that Guitar Jimmy Dolan was another spoiled rich kid whose daddy bought him the Knicks, Rangers, MSG and Radio City Music Hall.

Just like Woody, Guitar had no problem spending money on players, coaches and GMs, but had been known to become very irrational at the drop of the hat. He use to rule his employees like the Queen of Hearts in Alice and Wonderland, off with their heads.

He use to force employees to come listen to him and his band, JD and the Straight Shot when they played in clubs in NYC.

Could you just imagine Woody

strumming “ Sunshine of your Love”.

Ironically Guitar was a finalist against Woody when the Hess family made the Jets available.

Since that time, Guitar vs Woody and the NFL showed up at numerous times.

Guitar helped lead the charge against a Manhattan Jet Stadium.

The NFL draft use to be held in the Felt Forum, now called Infosys Theater, a 5,600 seat arena under the basketball Mecca, MSG.

Then the draft moved to Radio City until Dolan bought that.

Then the NFL decided to make the draft a traveling road show.

Just maybe, one night while Jimmy was strumming away in some Greenwich Village nightclub amid the smoke of some Acapulco Gold He got a brainstorm, “ I will no longer interfere.

Guitar has been relatively quiet during Rose’s employment, well publicly quiet.

Maybe Woody needs a diversion, maybe the Brigade can chip in and buy Woody a Kazoo or a Washboard Tub Bass.

Yes, Woody singing that Washboard Tub Bass classic “ Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight” will stop his interfering so Mougey could lead us to the promise land.
