As far as Geno goes, supposedly social media has found another traffic stop that he was involved in previously in Florida.
So his off season scorecard shows two traffic stops for assorted reasons of which a few are duplicated plus an “ supposed “ altercation with a member of the female gender.
Historically, quarterbacks are the face of a franchise. Geno is really not showing any smarts in his second dance with the Jets. He hasn’t exactly shown he has changed much since his first stint here. I’m sure this isn’t what Mougey and Glenn bargained for.
When he got hit by IK Enemkpali, I hate to say it, but he deserved it. He was being a total disrespectful jerk.
Based on his actions since the Jets resigned him, it appears Ik didn’t hit him hard enough because it appears he certainly hasn’t learned his lesson.

Unfortunately it's an MLS referee tonight and obviously with Messi being such a huge pull for the MLS in terms of their marketing and income, there are some raised eyebrows about whether the man in the middle is qualified to handle a game like this. We'll certainly find out tonight but we knew it would be a questionable pick considering everything. I thought the referee last night was excellent, so hopefully we get the same standard tonight.
Hopefully Geno can just keep his head down now and work towards the season. Maybe he even needs some football as a daily distraction

Quentin Skinner signed with Buffalo, yuck , one of my favorite UDFA’s. Quentin reportedly had an undisclosed injury, was waived, cleared waivers. And the Jets placed him on IR, done for the year, okay , stashing a young WR on IR has its advantages. Then the Jets cut him off of IR, possibly because of player request, but we will never know, wish him the best in Buffalo, but this sucks
The good news could be that Quentin’s clone UDFA Malick McClain, has made a favorable impression as a WR, and could have a slight chance of making the roster as an “X” WR, sixth overall. Clueless but intrigued about the Gee Scott experiment.
Yeah you have to believe that the release was a request from Skinner, I do wonder if maybe there is some disagreement about the extent of the injury. Maybe Skinner believes that he can get back quicker and as such wanted to cut ties with the Jets, who knows. I liked Skinner, had high hopes for him, but there seems to be a guy like that join as a UDFA most years, let's hope McClain makes a statement in the pre-season.

I didn't see the game and haven't heard the score, but am a little shocked that Spain beat France. I heard on the radio yesterday that they were the two teams that most people thought would be in the final, and that so far France has looked better than any other team. I heard that France was dangerous offensively, but Spain was a great defensive team and had shutout something like 5 of their 6 opponents in the World Cup. Just googled it and I see that Spain pitched another shutout yesterday vs France. That's pretty incredible! Sounds like they may be a team of destiny and set a record that may go unmatched for a long time (at least I'm assuming that it must be some kind of record to have shut out so many of their opponents in the world cup).
