Great write up, not just a list of statistics which is a trap some other sites seem to fall in to. I didn't know a lot about GW before the draft but this has helped a lot...thanx
Initially disappointed with this years group of UNDFA’s, but we are coming around. DQ Thomas is an upgrade at linebacker, today , over Cashman. Little undersized, and probably a PS guy this year, but he is run and hit linebacker that can cover, those guys always have value on Special teams. Curious to see last years “high priced” UNDFA, Isaiah Dunn CB, does in his second year in a crowded CB room
I go back to the Saleh remark that if Wilson was drafted by Atlanta at 8 , then the Jets would have drafted JJ at 10 . Demonstrates the Jets perceived value of Jermaine Johnson, but the Jets also had a significantly higher value of Wilson over Drake London or any other WR by a wide margin. It says to me the Jets are looking for deep speed and big play ability from their WR’s . The Jets acquiring 3 TE’s and Breece Hall will be a running team, but as the boxes get heavy, think you will see a lot of Wilson & Moore deep.
