White looked bad, agreed. Hopefully it's rust, but his roster spot isn't secure. Keeping 3 QB was possible this season, but I still assume he'd be cut when ZW gets healthy. He'd have to look like a star to keep it after that
Crazy thought but I'm interested to see if Strevelar will edge Mike White. Atlanta PS game will be key! V
He did look bad, he just looked a little unsure on his reads and his ball placement was lacking even on his short throws. I think if they can get anything for White in terms of draft compensation they'll move him despite liking him. It'll be tough to keep three QB's this year once Zach returns.
Strevelar getting some practice reps now will really put the pressure on White.
Should we consider bringing Jordan Jenkins back? We're so light on quality LB talent - wonder if he'd be a scheme fit. He was good at setting the edge, although I don't remember him in coverage
Our zone coverage was torn up last week, so hopefully we'll see some improvement when we downshift Quincy's playing time in favor of our new FA signing
Did you think that Zach looked like a rabbit in the headlights? Then we had White and Strevelar (sp?) come in and have no such worries. I know that Zach is the one with the pressure, but by now surely this should be done with by now, he looked like a rookie tbh.
I did think he looked pretty scattered, never got comfortable, footwork was still a little off. Wonder if it was first game jitters for this year and whether he would have settled down had he not got injured. The INT was a really poor one as he just stared down the receiver and never considered that linebacker.
It'll be challenging for ZW to get ready for his eventual return without a preseason. Need to get him settled, develop chemistry with receivers, get his timing down, all while getting used to pass rush and a mix of different coverages
Zach still likes like an immature kid. I say that knowing he has the look of a teenager, but his demeanor also exudes immaturity. I'm still fully supportive, but optimism is definitely waning.

Nice work David, as usual.
ZW looked like he was pressing. He always looks like that. Need to get the game to slow down for him. Hopefully watching Flacco will help.

Agree 100%
