Perception is a strange thing. I’ve always respected Aaron Rodgers as a QB, but viewing from afar I always thought he was a “me first” type character.
As we learn more about him, and see how he handles himself, it’s becoming clear that he’s anything but a selfish individual.
I spent some time reading Peter King’s article that included an interview with Aaron Rodgers and came away with a few takeaways. It’s a great piece so head on over to read it.
We’re going to get to the daily practice report a little later, but first I wanted to touch on Rodgers's contract.
✍️ We probably haven’t spent enough time talking about the Aaron Rodgers contract. I’ve still been getting to terms with what it really means and how it’s structured. In effect, it’s a three-year deal with Rodgers lowering his guarantees from $110 million which was left on his old deal to $75 million, which he’ll get on his new deal.
That in a nutshell is what it’s all about.
