Good morning!
I always feel more relaxed playing a team like the Eagles. Playing the Broncos the Jets were expected to come away with a win, this week, like with Kansas City, the Jets are opening as 6.5-point home underdogs against the Eagles on Sunday.
That makes sense when you look at the standings. The Jets are 2-3 with one good win against the Bills and a road win in Denver, the Eagles have yet to be toppled. Combining an explosive offence with a stout and resolute defence. We’re going to get into the preview today, is there any hope for the Jets? Of course there is.
On the surface, the Eagles look unbeatable. But you could argue they really haven’t been tested all that much this year.
They’ve beaten the 1-4 Vikings, the 2-3 Commanders, the 1-4 Patriots, the 2-3 Rams and the 3-1 Bucs. They did dominate that Bucs team, limiting Tampa Bay to 174 total yards of offence, but they’ve yet to face an elite team. The Jets are by no means elite, but I do think that if everything falls right, we can run them close and maybe, just maybe sneak a win.
Whenever I start a preview thread, I think about what we as an offence will try to do, and how adept are the opposition at stopping it.
