Good morning! ☀️
We are just 8 days away from the draft. 8 days away from the first real deadline in the Aaron Rodgers trade. 8 days away from discovering the offensive/defensive rookie of the year for 2024.
Today we’re going to continue to hit on draft content, looking at offensive tackle Paris Johnson. The OSU product is widely considered to be one of the best if not the best tackle in the class, so should he be the pick at #13 if available?

We’ve got a few notes today including a few more visits to update you on.
🔴⚪ With the kind of timing you can only dream about, Paris Johnson will be arriving in New York tonight to meet with the Jets, before continuing his visit tomorrow at Florham Park. Johnson visited the Eagles yesterday who pick 10th overall and is garnering interest from several other teams inside the top 20. Today’s newsletter was always going to be about Johnson, so head on below to find out more.
✍️ The Jets announced that they had re-signed offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi yesterday. The former first-round pick of the Bengals allowed 1 sack in 286 snaps last year (176 pass-block snaps) across 5 games played at right tackle. He did allow 14 pressures and was graded poorly in the run game, but he offers some serviceable offensive line depth. I’m sure the Jets are hoping he doesn’t have to see the field this year.
✈️ Notre Dame defensive tackle Jayson Ademilola had a private visit with the Jets. Jayson is considered a late-round draft pick or UDFA candidate. A lot of analysts question his play strength to play inside at the next level, but there is little doubt that he has the explosion to line up on obvious passing downs in a penetration front as a 3-tech. Over the last two years, he’s had 9 sacks and 68 pressures. I actually love Ademilola as a development DT.
