David, I think I speak for all Brigade members in wishing you and your family a Healthy and Happy New Year.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation, get plenty of rest because you will need it Next week you will be starting a Herculean task in writing about our favorite team.

Probably right now, you are the most gifted writer in Denmark since Hans Christian Anderson was getting world wide acclaim.

This really did not get much traction on social media.

This was reported by Cimini.

More and more, it would appear that Glenn is in over his head.

Glenn likes to quote Tuna.

I don’t ever recall Tuna or any really accomplished HC backtracking on post game comments.

“One day after criticizing his team's effort in a 42-10 loss to the Patriots, Aaron Glenn backtracked on Monday. Unsolicited, he said, "Effort was not the issue with that game … Our guys did not quit." He said he changed his mind after watching the tape. Maybe he realized the gravity of his post-game remarks. It's a slippery slope when a coach questions effort; he can lose the locker room. It also can be perceived as a self-indictment. What does it say about the culture he's trying to build?”

Social media has been very heavy this week with Glenn one and done stories.

Hopefully Darian Mensah changes his mind about going back to Duke for the 2026 season, after leading Duke to a 42-39 victory over Arizona State.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — Darian Mensah threw for 327 yards and four touchdowns to lead Duke to a 42-39 victory over Arizona State in the Sun Bowl on Wednesday.

Mensah, the game’s MVP, was 29-of-51 passing with an interception. He helped Duke to its fourth straight win and tied a Sun Bowl record for TD passes in a game. That included a 17-yard scoring pass to Que’Sean Brown with 2:10 to play that lifted the Blue Devils to victory.

For all of you Ohio State fans, the Buckeyes lost their second straight game last night to Miami 24-14 in the CFP Cotton Bowl game last night, definitely not the New Years Eve celebration that the buckeye fans were expecting.

There is a gentleman named Rick Serritella he is a college player evaluator. I think he does some scouting for the Raiders.

He does have some connection with the Senior Bowl.

I’m sure David has heard of him.

He has a paid service that gives extensive evaluations.

He does offer a crumb or two to goad people to pay for his service.

A couple of freebies that he has been offering is all star games rosters. He does give constant updates.

I think resident college evaluator Ron #22 Alexander would agree that the Jets again picked the wrong year to need a quarterback.

Based on Serritella’s list, this years array of senior quarterback prospects can be compared to looking at a cornfield in July that’s been hit by a terrible drought.

Again these lists are constantly changing. There could definitely be more quality quarterbacks once the Bowl games are played.

Currently there are 39 underclassmen that are opting out of school, not one a quarterback.

OLD BUISNESS FROM TWITTER

The Chiefs activated one of Jet fan’s favorite practice team player for their Xmas night game with Denver, Jason Brownlee.

Rookie Armand Membou has had 3 games so far this season with

ZERO quarterback pressures allowed

Star in the making

This was posted on Twitter before Sunday’s Pat debacle.

Jowon Briggs added 4 more pressures, a sack, and an 86.1 PFF grade in Week 16.

Briggs now ranks top-20 in pressures (2nd in pressure rate) and top-10 in Pass Rush Productivity among all iDL 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧. Incredible.

Since Week 10, Briggs is 5th in total pressures and second in PFF pass-rush grade (90.0) behind only Chris Jones.

He’s played like one of the best DTs in the NFL for most of this season — full stop. What a find for the Jets.

For Brigade members who are draftniks.
