Robbie Anderson is in a contract year in 2022, will make 11 million dollars this year, with career earnings approximately of 28 million. The WR market has exploded, and Robby will get paid , but he is approaching 30, and very Bambi like, has avoided major injury, but if I had 28 million, walking away healthy isn’t the worst idea.

Jets are going small at DT, not a big run stuffer on the roster, apparently, it’s a conscious decision, a scheme thing. Curious, the Jets were dead last against the run, the problems at linebacker is due in part to the poor defensive line play against the run. There are some old warhorses out there as run stuffers, Linval Joseph, Sheldon Richardson, & Eddie Goldman, But the Jets are not biting. Sheppard & Rankins have been cut candidates, Solomon Thomas has been around, is only about 280 , seriously. You have to love the RAS scores of Jonathan Marshal but he was a sixth round pick for a reason. Huge weakness for the Jets . It’s “Q” and a bunch of scrubeenies. Ravens up first , it will be quite a test. Hope I’m wrong, looming disaster.

I'm rooting for Shepherd. If it is true about turning down more money to return to the Jets, I really admire his belief in himself as he would be entering his second season in this defense.
