Good morning. ☕
This is turning into a transformative off-season for the NFL, and the playoffs haven’t even begun. Pete Carroll is out in Seattle, and now Bill Belichick is out in New England. While I respect the success that Bill had, and I also respect what he did in the community, something that often isn’t reported. It’s hard to completely respect someone who was caught cheating on multiple occasions. It’s a new dawn in New England and with Brady and Belichick gone, it feels like an end of an era in terms of the rivalry.
All’s quiet on the Jets front today, so we’re going to have a nice quick newsletter focused on whether the Jets should re-sign Ashtyn Davis. If you’d told me 12 months ago I’d be writing this, I’d have laughed as I busily typed all the reasons Davis should be cut. Although, for all the new subscribers we’ve picked up lately, make sure you read edition #155 which was all about Ashtyn and why we may need a little patience with him.
We seem to be picking up a fair few subscribers at the moment, as we head into an important off-season. So a big welcome to everyone, and please get involved in the community comment section.
