Is it possible that around 6:32 pm last night JD called the lions about Reddick because that’s about when Aiden Hutchinson was being carted off the field with an inflated air cast over his broken tibia.

If this trade would be possible, could the Jets maybe request Hendon Hooker as compensation.

It’s quite possible that after 6 games that both Mike McCarthy of the 3-3 Cowboys and Doug Pederson of the 1-5 Jaguars will be with Saleh on the ex-HC unemployment line.

Trevor Lawrence, the supposed, generational talent, was the apple of the Jets fans eye in 2020 when the Jets under the brilliant leadership of Adam Gase were like a runaway railroad steaming ahead for the number one pick.

The Jets did a very Jets like thing, they beat the Rams virtually taken them out of the Lawrence sweepstakes.

Just to show how unprepared mentally the Rams were that game. There was a two play sequence that the tv repeated a few times where the human eating machine Mekhi Becton actually pancaked Aaron Donald on consecutive runs.

Also because of his game saving tackle near the end of the game, Braeden Mann has been permanently enshrined in the Torch and Pitchfork Brigades Hall of Shame. If Mann was a normal punter he would have run away from Nsimba Webster attempting to score on a game winning punt return.

But after 4 years has Lawrence shown generational talent, no, he still seems to have his ups and downs. Maybe he is a top 15.

Absent from the news of Saleh’s firing was any word on JD. Can he now be referred to as Where’sJD Waldo.

A few NFL types came out this weekend ripping Woody and the Jets for firing Saleh. It was the normal verbal beatdown of the Jets that didn’t mention their weekly slow starts, penalties, lack of discipline, their Prevent Offense.

Teddy Bruschi had a lot to say about it all which is amazing because the last time he probably saw the Jets play he was wearing a Pat uniform.

This ESPN insider nugget from Bruschi

“In my opinion, I think this was a knee-jerk reaction. I don’t think he should’ve been [fired.] … He was trying to do head coaching things. He wanted to demote Nathaniel Hackett, take the play-calling away, which is ironically exactly what Aaron Rodgers was asking him to do,

So according to Bruschi, Rodgers wanted Hackett replaced. Really, when was this announced.

Living proof ESPN insiders have no credibility or in Bruschi case, he got too many concessions during his playing days.

It would be awesome if the Jets could trade Reddick and get something in return.

From the Jets

MNF! @nyjets vs. Bills

💨 Wind Warning‼️: Strong wind gusts are expected at MetLife Stadium this afternoon. Please use caution when grilling and secure all items. Avoid setting up tents if they cannot be secured properly and put all items in your vehicle before entering the stadium. Thank you and Let's Go Jets!

Might be tough on pk, punters and some passes

If the Jets D continues to play at their standard and the O plays average, I feel we should be able to win. However if we cant run the ball and we can't stop them from running, we'll continue to be the same ol...

I'd love for big Q to feast today. With a mobile Allen at QB and a quick edge guy in WMD, I hope we get Allen attempting to run up the middle into Q. As you mentioned, he's getting doubled but would love more contributions.

Offensively hoping for some changes. Any changes. Not expecting them but hoping. Most of us would probably like to see Corley have a chance. Get some good runs in. Have Williams feast a bit more. Hit GW on some explosive plays. And most importantly keep AR clean.

All are hopes. Realistically need some of them to happen for a W.

Get summary David. Just heard that that jerk Reddick has hired new agents and they are talking to the Jets. Great just another distraction. I was feeling pretty good after listing to all the pressers this week from the "new" staff. Woke up today no so much. The Bills are not losing 3 in a row - they dob't do that The Jets do.

Yeah I just saw the Reddick news. Sounds like it's damage control, if he wanted to be a jet for the long-term he'd have got his ass to camp in July. I never understood why he didn't do a Lamb, come to camp, be present for your teammates and coaches and just don't work out if you're worried about getting injured. He's shown zero commitment, it's all talk from his new agency right now.

I'm surprised that another agent took him on after the way he has self-destructed his career.

I think they must have been given some assurances from Reddick that he wants to play. If he went into their meetings saying the same thing he was to CAA, I don't think they sign him.

We have to see some O changes tonight, with less than a week of preparation probably won’t be huge but some incremental change might be enough. I heard a broadcaster this weekend sticking up for Hack. “This isn’t Hacket’s offense it’s AR’s. Not the offense he ran in Denver”. He left off but just as bad.

Gee, His Denver offense finished like 30-31st. And some idiotic sportscaster is defending him. The sports world is getting as clueless as the real world
